I will say all greetings as I do not know when you will be reading this.
My name is Annie from the Land of the Tea, (United Kingdom to everyone else), although I have gained the nickname of Pinkannie, from my hair and shoes (although my hair is not pink any more!) and I am this week's Smile of the Week!
Becoming a Pinkie here is one of the best things I have done, and becoming a climbing guide (PROGRAMME RULES!) over the last couple of months has been FANTASTIC. Especially when I am with my awesome climbing family (Hannah,Tad, Boba, Lloyd, I am talking about you guys, not forgetting the ever growing relatives!), who make me smile all the time!
You will often find me being hyper, helping out wherever I can, or trying to learn Spanish from fellow pinkies (que pasa locos?) But if I am not here then it means I am chilling at my second home, The Upperhut! (Ueschinenhütte to everyone else.) Building campfires and taking groups climbing and hiking there, is one of my favourite things. Plus the amazing views of the Ueschinen Valley, they never cease to amaze me!
What keeps me smiling is making others smile, and helping others reach there goals at KISC. And of course being here in Switzerland and meeting Scouts from all over the world. Every day is a reason to smile when you are here. And you will often find me making jokes or pulling faces across the room at another Pinkie. So please do not be alarmed if you see me around, and please, feel free to pull a face back and say hello!
